Water filter EPA EVF-RO/7 (25–80 W)
This is a 7-stage reverse osmosis filter designed to purify drinking water. Water is forced through a membrane under pressure, separating out fine impurities, bacteria and viruses, and is then enriched with useful minerals in the final stages. Unlike the previous model, the storage tank sits directly inside the filter housing and takes up no extra space. The 3.2-gallon tank holds a reserve of clean water, while a large, easy-to-use touch panel shows the system's status.
Advantages
- Seven-stage purification — treats water step by step, from mechanical particles through to taste and odour
- Reverse osmosis membrane — neutralises 99.9% of bacteria and viruses
- Mineraliser and maifan stone stages — enrich the water with calcium, magnesium and sodium
- 3.2-gallon storage tank built into the housing — takes up no extra kitchen space
- Metal tank body with a plastic upper coating — strong, with no effect on water quality
- Large touch control panel — makes monitoring and operating the system straightforward
- Automatic cartridge flushing — extends cartridge life
- Handles water hardness up to 1000 ppm — suitable for hard-water areas
- Compact modern design — fits the interior of any kitchen
Application
Used in homes and kitchens to purify drinking water. Also installed in small offices and other places where clean water is needed; it connects to the cold water line and is intended for drinking water only. The system can be installed independently in 15 minutes.
Filtration stages
- PP (polypropylene) — clears mechanical particles, dirt, silt and rust
- UDF — ultra-dense activated carbon filter: removes chlorine, organic compounds and heavy metals
- CTO — compressed carbon: eliminates chlorine and improves odour and taste
- RO membrane — neutralises 99.9% of bacteria and viruses
- T33 post-carbon — white granulated carbon that refines the taste of the purified water
- T33 mineraliser — yellow granules that enrich the water with calcium, magnesium and sodium
- Maifan stones — a transparent stone layer giving the water its final taste, odour and colour, with further mineral enrichment
Note on use
For the system to work correctly, inlet pressure must stay within 0.1–0.35 MPa; output drops when pressure is low. Water temperature must remain between 4 and 40 °C. Cartridge replacement intervals are given in the operating manual.
