Electric Water Heater EPA EV-VK2-30 (2000 W)
This is a 30-litre electric water heater that heats water quickly and efficiently at home. It runs on a 220 V supply with 2000 W of power and heats water up to 75 °C. Protection rating is IPX4.
Advantages
- Multimedia control panel — temperature adjustable from 25 to 75 °C
- Quick P1 (low power) and P2 (high power) modes, plus an ECO mode fixed at 55 °C
- Two-stage relay protection — an external cut-out in the cable prevents electric shock by cutting the power, and an internal one switches the heater off if run dry or overheated
- Frost protection — heating switches on by itself when water drops below 5 °C and off at 10 °C
- Incoloy heating element and magnesium anode — protection against corrosion
- NTC sensor — accurate water temperature measurement
- Thermal insulation — keeps heat longer and saves energy
Application
Used to supply hot water at home, in the office and in the kitchen. Intended for small families and offices.
Note on use
For safe, bacteria-free use, keep the water in the tank at about 60 °C. In theory, 30 litres heat up in about 63 minutes; in practice heat loss, voltage changes and the starting water temperature can make it take a little longer. Mixing 75 °C water with 15 °C cold water down to 40 °C gives about 2.4 times the usable volume (30 l → ~72 l).
