Automatic water pump EPA EVN-A200-2 (200 W)
This is an automatic surface pump that draws water from a well, tank or low-pressure pipeline and delivers it where needed at steady pressure. It starts by itself when a tap is opened, holds pressure through its tank once water use ends, and stops by itself. The 200 W motor runs at 2850 rpm and delivers a flow of 33 L/min and a head of up to 25 m. It runs stably across a wide 150–230 V supply range, so water delivery continues even where mains voltage drops.
Advantages
- Suction from up to 8 m — draws water from a well or tank on its own, with no additional tank required
- Wide voltage range (150–230 V) — keeps water supply running when the mains supply weakens
- Pressure tank — maintains constant pressure in the system and prevents frequent pump cycling
- Thermal relay — switches the pump off by itself when motor temperature rises, protecting it from burnout
- Check valve — passes flow in one direction only and stops water running back once the pump shuts off
- Cast iron housing enamelled inside and out — resists rust and lasts for years
- Full copper winding and brass impeller — improve durability and move water evenly
- Stainless steel armature shaft, bolts and fasteners — reliable operation even in damp conditions
- Compact size and standard 25 mm connection diameter — fits into tight spaces and connects quickly to existing pipework
Application
Used in houses and country properties, gardens and irrigation systems to supply water and stabilise low pressure in pipework. Also used at small production sites; the 200 W model is intended for smaller household needs such as a shower and kitchen, and works with clean water only — free of sand, clay and other solid particles.
Note on use
After installation the relay must be adjusted to the working water pressure, otherwise it may fail quickly. If the pipeline runs out of water, or in an emergency, the pump must be switched off immediately: dry running burns out the motor. Use with non-potable or waste water without a filter is not permitted.
