Circulation pump EPA ESN40-6-230 (500 W)
This is a circulation pump designed to keep water moving continuously in heating and hot water systems. Its motor, with an input power of 500 W, delivers a flow of 16 m³/h and a head of up to 7 m, maintaining steady circulation around the circuit. The TF110 temperature class allows safe operation with hot water up to 110 °C and installation directly in boiler room circuits. A 10 bar system pressure rating and IP44 protection make it reliable in closed circuits and damp rooms alike.
Advantages
- Motor with 500 W input power — provides continuous, stable circulation around the circuit
- 16 m³/h flow and 7 m head — distribute heat evenly in medium and larger heating circuits
- Cast iron wetted section and aluminium motor housing — withstand pressure and draw heat away from the motor quickly
- Winding of solid copper wire — improves pump reliability and keeps it running continuously for years
- TF110 temperature class — safe operation with hot water up to 110 °C
- 10 bar system pressure rating — reliable operation in closed circuits
- IP44 protection rating — protected against splashing water, reliable in damp rooms
- 280 W maximum output power — distributes power according to load and prevents unnecessary consumption
Application
Used in radiator heating systems to keep rooms warm and in underfloor heating circuits, where hot water circulating beneath the floor holds the room temperature even. It works alongside a boiler, sending water to the radiators and returning it; it also serves in industrial and process water systems to keep hot or cold water circulating.
Note on use
Until the air has cleared from the system the pump runs with some noise. Once the air is fully out, it continues running quietly and steadily.
